A great knowledge available to everyone

Unique and exclusive, the courses that we held in our state of the art Suspension World Academy are targeted to car, motorcycle and bicycle technicians and riders that want to discover all the suspension secrets. From the principles that rule the set up, to the working of forks and shock absorbers, to their adjustment, custom set up based on car, motorcycle or bicycle model, kind of circuit, weight and driving style of the rider.

Over the years, as well as it happens now, the Andreani Group staff has trained sector workers and technicians from prestigious Companies, teams and motorcycle manufacturers at international level, in the exclusive hall provided of a suspension test bench and of an advanced simulator with maxi screen and bidirectional telemetry that reproduces live the several cases of use of forks and shock absorbers.

The speakers are the same technicians that over the year are on the circuits to manage the motorcycles set up of the various riders, and they can transfer their experience to the attendees which are divided based on their level of knowledge and consolidation they want to have.

Motorcycle courses for individuals

Our suspension course targeted to individuals is studied to provide the appropriate technical notions to tune the street or off road bike suspension on their own. They'll learn how forks and suspension work, how to set them properly, how to make a proper servicing. With the support of video they'll also learn how to interpret the reactions of the bike and how to reach the proper adjustment based on the weight and riding style. The course lasts a whole day, struts at 9 am and finishes at 6 pm, and it includes the following topics:

  • The internal hydraulic operation of street and off road forks and shock absorbers
  • The springs, theirs features, the preload and how to chose the proper one
  • The Link, what it means, the relations amongst linkages of various bikes
  • Shock absorber and fork setting, what they are and how to set them
  • The chain
  • Proper maintenance of all the suspension parts

Motorcycle courses for Technicians and Dealers

To become an Andreani Group Center dealers or shop owners have to participate to our two-days specific course, a day for theory and a day for practice, that allows to look out in a prestigious, professional and complete way for the setting and maintenance of forks and shock absorbers of any motorcycle, and they also have the chance of selling the prestigious brands distributed by Andreani Group. At the disposal of the Centers there's a phone number and an intranet password to access the database containing the information about the setting of all kind of motorcycles (more than 7000 settings are available, and as many solutions collected during 20 years of activity on the circuits) to satisfy all the needs of the final customer. Topics of the theory day:

  • Operation of street and off road forks and shock absorbers
  • Balancing theory of street and off road bikes
  • Distinction between comfort and performance
  • Impact of the setting on ride safety
  • Tuning of forks and shock absorbers
  • Overview on setting issues and related solutions.

During the practice day beside our circuit technicians, the topics to develop will be the following:

  • How to properly mount and take apart forks and shock absorbers
  • Which are the scales to change and rules to follow to improve forks and shock absorbers flow
  • Explanation of all the tools included in the cart
  • Explanation of the Vacuum pump functions
  • To become an authorized Andreani Group Suspension Center the minimum equipment that the dealer has to buy is the following:
  • 50 liters of assorted oil (fork and shock absorber)
  • 1 vacuum pump SP2
  • 1 universal shock absorber pressurization kit
  • 1 pressure reduction gauge 30 bar
  • 1 tool drawer cart fitted with universal tools to work on any kind of suspension

Bicycle courses for Technicians and Dealers

To become an Andreani Group Center dealers or shop owners have to participate to our two-days specific course, a day for theory and a day for practice, that allows to look out in a prestigious, professional and complete way for the setting, maintenance and tuning of the most popular forks and shock absorbers, and they also have the chance of selling the prestigious brands distributed by Andreani Group. At the disposal of the Centers there are some phone numbers specific for the needs to collect information about main bicycle models setting to satisfy all the needs of the final customer. The theory and practice topics developed during the course will be the following:

Car suspension courses

The specific courses for car sector that we organize for technicians, dealers and pilots can expand their knowledge about the suspension world. Held in the state of the art hall equipped with exclusive and technological advanced devices, the courses make more understandable any aspect related to shock absorbers and setting, since they are focused on how to operate on suspension in a detailed way, following a method that helps to interpret the pilots feedback. It's a process that considers the various aspects of the shock absorber: externally, regarding the manufacturing process, and internally regarding the setting and operation. Specific attention is givens also to the vehicle behavior related to the suspension to give a proper answer to any problem.
